I talked to a stay at home mom today who felt condemned because she was “just” a stay at home mom who used to have aspirations to change the world. This saddens me that Christians are being looked down upon because of their pursuit of a “normal” life, feeling like a disappointment because they didn’t fulfill a mandate that Jesus never gave us. Seems to me if we had more “normal” Christians who took care of the small things God has entrusted to them instead of chasing selfish ambition to do something huge that they can stamp their name on, the world would actually change.
